Corner to Corner co-creates economic participation and growth with underestimated Nashvillians by launching and growing entrepreneurs from historically low-income neighborhoods. The organization believes that to end multigenerational poverty, it must create multigenerational owners. The flagship program, The Academy, begins with a 10-week cohort model that equips community members with the skills they need to plan, start, and grow their own small businesses. Afterward, these entrepreneurs are supported through multiple phases of their growth with creative ongoing programs and mentorship opportunities. Corner to Corner has graduated more than 1,200 Black entrepreneurs, each in various stages of small business growth. Collectively, these entrepreneurs had an estimated $27 million impact on the neighborhood economy in 2023 alone.
