Alan believes that all work is God’s work, and new ventures are an opportunity to continue pushing the Gospel into the world. He started his career at GE Aviation in the Financial Management Program. Working around the world, he was exposed to a wide array of financial leaders and systems. After GE, he moved to Manhattan and worked at Ernst & Young, consulting large businesses on financial solutions and strategies. The urge for work to mean something more was calling, so he transitioned into a financial planning and operations role at KIPPNJ in Newark, NJ. Working in Newark, NJ for one of the largest charter school operators, he was able to see firsthand the opportunities created when people work with hope and optimism for the future. Alan is originally from Cincinnati, and graduated from the University of Notre Dame. An alum of the Gotham Fellowship, he also enjoys running, reading and traveling.
