Sami DiPasquale lives with his wife and four children in El Paso, TX. He is the Founder & Executive Director of Abara, a nonprofit serving both sides of the US-Mexico border. Sami was born in Jordan, grew up in the Middle East, and has spent the last 20 years in the US immersed in refugee resettlement, community development, and peace-building efforts. He holds a bachelor's degree in sustainable development (interdisciplinary) from Wheaton College in Illinois, and an MBA from the University of Texas in El Paso. Sami’s enduring vision is to join others in bridging divides and moving toward mutual flourishing for all.
