Patty Prasada-Rao, Senior Consultant at Maryland Nonprofits, has worked with non-profit organizations to develop communities, organizations, leaders, and ministries. Her experience includes strategic development, programming, fundraising, and board/staff development, with a focus on issues that impact underserved communities and how marginalized community members can take the lead in transformation and renewal. She was born in the United States to Indian parents and has an extended family network, instilling strong values for community and belonging. Patty received a BA in psychology/pre-med from Johns Hopkins University and an MPH in health education/community development from UNC-Chapel Hill.
