David Helmer has 45 years of experience leading international companies and organizations. He recently sold his first startup to a Fortune 250 company. He is a partner at two venture capital firms. Through the newly formed Catalytik Group, David has launched, acquired, or invested in companies on three continents, including Rwandan food distribution and property development, Belgian Division 1 soccer, Pan-African basketball scouting services, and multiple early-stage life science companies. He has served as executive director, co-founder, or chairman of nonprofit organizations in South Africa, Rwanda, and Ukraine. He lives with his wife in Charlotte, NC.
