Elizabeth Paul is the Chief Strategy Officer of MullenLowe U.S. In that capacity, Elizabeth leads a hyper bundled team of brand strategists, social strategists, comms planners and behavioral scientists – all dedicated to uncovering actionable insights that help their clients gain an unfair share of attention. Known particularly for her expertise in modern family life, Elizabeth has studied mothers in 17 countries. Trained in cultural anthropology, she once spent a year on the road with a photojournalist and a documentary film crew studying the lives of middle American moms. To this day, the artifacts of that trip line the walls of Walmart’s global headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, after paving the way for success her work in repositioning the iconic brand. Elizabeth has had the opportunity to work with retailers (Walmart, Target, Walgreens and ASDA), consumer packaged goods companies (Coca-Cola, J&J, Unilever, Pfizer, McNeil and Earth’s Best), toy companies (LEGO, Playskool), entertainment properties (E! Network, Discovery) and travel brands (Hyatt, Jet Blue, Royal Caribbean), to name a few. In the past year, she helped E*TRADE re-establish their rightful place as The Original Place to Invest Online and achieve business results unsurpassed in company history – all while being outspent more than 4:1. This helped pave the way to for MullenLowe’s inclusion on the 2017 AdAge Agency A List and Elizabeth being featured among the Women of the A List.
