Cole Johnson is Founder & CEO of The Looma Project. Originally from Colorado, Cole studied at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill as a Chancellor’s Carolina Scholar. He began his entrepreneurial journey with an Eagle Scout project that developed into a small social enterprise, which ultimately served as the inspiration for Looma.
Looma is premised on the belief that a growing number of consumers want to know the people and stories behind their products, and that this growing desire will produce a fundamental shift in consumer packaged goods advertising. Looma's first product, Loop™ At-Shelf Maker Stories, is a network of tablets installed in grocery stores that play short videos about the people behind the brands we love. In addition to driving sales for featured brands, their suite of analytics tools also offers retailers and brands insight into which elements of their stories most influence purchasing behavior, and for whom.
