Venus Aerospace is building hypersonic drones and spaceplanes capable of one hour global travel. This is possible because of three distinct breakthroughs—advances in engine technology, airframe shape, and leading edge cooling—which will allow the space plane to take off from an airport, boost to the edge of the atmosphere and travel at Mach 9, and then land in an hour on the other side of the globe with a two-hour turnaround time.
