Mary Elizabeth Goodell

Mary Elizabeth is energized by the power of entrepreneurship to connect people to the resources they need. At Wheaton College, she earned a BA in Business and Economics while researching the effects of human trafficking on the economy.  After winning a pitch competition with a business model to connect sexually exploited women to employment, she was introduced to Praxis and caught a vision for redemptive entrepreneurship. Upon graduation, she moved to Chicago to serve as the Director of Donor Relations for Hope Works Community Development. In the "City of Broad Shoulders", she co-founded an organization that connects international trafficking ministries to funding and led outreach to trafficked women in the Wicker Park neighborhood with New Name Ministries. She is a 2016 Praxis Academy alumna and served on the 2017 Praxis Academy Host Team before joining full time as the Events and Community Associate. She now lives in Queens and attends Wellspring NYC.
