Jena leads the Nonprofit Accelerator Program for Praxis. She is also the Co-Founder of Blood: Water Mission, which she started in 2004 alongside the band Jars of Clay. Following her vision and leadership, Blood: Water has brought clean water access to more than one million people in Africa. She has contributed to numerous books including Hope in the Dark and The Revolution: A Field Manual for Changing Your World, and she has been featured in the films Sons of Lwala and Unconditional Love. Jena graduated from Whitworth University with a degree in political studies. She and her husband, James, have one son and live in Mountain View, CA. Her first book, One Thousand Wells, was released in August (Howard Books, Simon & Schuster).
