Dr. Emily Harburg is the Co-Founder & CEO of PairUp. Before founding PairUp, she worked as a behavioral scientist at Disney Imagineering, as a UX researcher at Meta, and as the director of emerging technology and innovation at Education First. Emily also co-founded Brave Initiatives, an organization focused on increasing career pathways for women in tech. She graduated with a PhD in technology and social behavior from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in social anthropology and psychology from Harvard University. In her free time she enjoys hiking, skiing, volleyball, attending Thoughtlucks, and learning how to DJ.
