Nonprofit Accelerator


Not a set of conferences or networking events, our program has a progress-focused, iterative structure comprised of three main events focused on actionable steps that accelerate high-impact ventures.

At these events, Fellows have intimate interaction with world-class mentors through small roundtable discussions and multiple, extensive one-on-ones. In between gatherings, Fellows have a core Praxis team that works with them to develop tangible outcomes, includes coaching on story & presentation that results in a highly visual, fully-produced deck and management dashboard.

Current Program Dates

Gathering One

April 16-20, 2018

Just north of Manhattan, in the spring of beautiful Hudson Valley, twenty mentors will gather with our Fellows at a private lodge to examine their organizational growth and personal leadership, ultimately entering into a new community of relationships and often a renewed vision for the intersection of their faith and work.


Gathering Two

July 9-12, 2018

Held at a private venue near the beach in Los Angeles, Fellows and a new group of mentors will again convene to share progress and gain insights into the process of building a high-impact organization. In what often feels like a reunion, Fellows reconvene to build on key learnings from the field and take the conversation to the next level of depth.


Gathering Three

September 21-23, 2018

The program culminates with an event before the Gathering's annual conference. Fellows will share their vision for shaping culture through their venture with over 100 philanthropists, including the opportunity to pursue new relationships and funding.  As the program wraps up, Fellows say farewell to each other as they transition into our active alumni community, where we continue to support their work and lives.

Our Nonprofit Accelerator includes an international travel fund that offers a 50/50 matching grant of up to $2,500 per Fellow during the program. This is a pass-through grant, provided by a single Praxis donor. In order to be eligible, Fellows must be working on the ground in the developing world.




Through our generous donors, we are able to subsidize our Accelerator program expenses, which result in the high quality, cost effective, accessible program listed below. 

$8,000 (Nonprofit Fellowship)

$3,000 (Additional Seat for 2nd Fellow)

The rate includes all food and accommodations while at the three main Accelerator events (10 nights). International fellows may also be eligible for a travel stipend.

Due to program size and admission process, if for any reason a Fellow cannot participate in an event, refunds cannot be given for program fees (even in extenuating circumstances).
