Tom Blaisdell

After 14 years of operating experience followed by 17 years of early-stage Venture Capital investing, Tom is currently helping to educate and train the next generation of exceptional Private Equity and Venture Capital investors and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs at the Center for Private Equity & Entrepreneurship at the Tuck Business School at Dartmouth. He has a passion for innovation in Financial Technology and for technology and services that empower entrepreneurs and small businesses, and continues to advise and mentor start-ups in these arenas. As a General Partner at DCM Ventures, Tom led investments in over a dozen ventures that IPO’d or were acquired and held board and observer seats at over 20 tech startups. Prior to DCM, Tom’s career included operating roles at multiple startups including Intuit, Encanto Networks, and Fatbrain.com, plus a stint at Bain in SF and Boston. Tom holds a BSME from Stanford and an MBA from Tuck.
