Romanita Hairston-Overstreet is a skilled executive leader, visionary, and strategist at Microsoft, focused on ensuring everyone has future-ready skills and every organization is prepared for digital transformation. Her work includes strengthening workforce ecosystems through partnerships and technology-enabled solutions that lead to employment. Hairston-Overstreet is also President & Founder of MORE320, a nonprofit consulting, leadership development, and publishing organization and a Representative for the Murdock Charitable Trust, a top 100 foundation. Prior to the Murdock Charitable Trust, Hairston-Overstreet spent 20 years at World Vision, starting as a Program Director just prior to completing her MBA. After working in various leadership roles, she served as Vice President of U.S. Programs for 10 years. She was responsible for national programs and services for over 2,500 partners that impacted almost 3 million children and adults. Hairston-Overstreet writes a blog called the “Power of One,” teaches at the University level, runs half marathons, and has been published in several national publications. She is active on several nonprofit boards, including, Urban Alliance, Praxis Connections, Global Women, and Renaissance Leadership. In 2016, she was recognized for her service by the National Council of Negro Women.
