Joseph is Founder and Partner at HARK, a venture firm dedicated to grounding new product experiences in user-advocated design, live prototyping, and partnership-driven business strategy. He currently also serves as partner at Notation Capital and advisor to IDEO and Nucleus. Prior to HARK, Joseph was Ventures Lead at IDEO, leading an effort to partner with and launch new products and services utilizing design. While at IDEO, he also concepted and piloted innovations for both early and late stage enterprises including Soul Cycle, JPMorgan, Lowe’s, Keurig, Heineken, and Estimote. Previously, Joseph worked as an investor with Lerer Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital firm (investments include Warby Parker, Buzzfeed, Makerbot, Venmo), and within the Business Development group at GroupMe (sold to Skype/Microsoft). He holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.S. from Georgetown University. He serves as a Board Member of the Columbia Venture Community (CVC) and is Founder of Venturing Hoyas.
