Rachel Haughey is Founder and CEO of NEAT, a coffee hospitality company with two retail locations in Darien and Westport, CT. Rachel sets vision and strategy, and manages all financial aspects of the company. Rachel is passionate about community formation and desires to redesign the typical experience of hospitality in the industry. Previously, Rachel was a trading analyst at the energy desk of ARCIM Advisors, a commodity-focused investment fund in Greenwich, CT. Rachel earned a BA in Economics and French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and began her career as an economic consultant with NERA Consulting in New York City.
NEAT is a coffee hospitality brand that began as a single retail location in Darien, CT, in 2009. Pursuing quality at all levels of the coffee value chain, NEAT initiated green coffee sourcing and roasting activities in 2012. As a vertically-integrated coffee company, it is now selectively expanding into the broader food and beverage retail market, creating community destinations, offering inventive all-day dining. NEAT’s second location, featuring a menu pairing of coffee and craft cocktails, opened in Westport in 2014.
