Paige Chenault is the Founder of The Birthday Party Project (TBPP), where Paige and her team of “birthday enthusiasts” host monthly birthday parties at homeless and transitional living facilities. While TBPP officially kicked off just six years ago, the organization has grown to 13 cities across the U.S. and has celebrated more than 6,500 birthdays with the help of almost 40,000 birthday enthusiasts to date. Paige has been featured on the TODAY Show, The Steve Harvey Show, ABC World News Tonight, Glamour Magazine, The New York Times, and more. She also presented on the TEDx stage in 2016, and likes to share her ideas around pursuing your passion, creating a culture that’s meaningful, and entrepreneurship. Paige hopes her dedication to generosity will inspire others to spread joy in their communities. She and her husband, Colin, live in Dallas with their almost 10-year-old daughter Lizzie, who remains the inspiration behind all their efforts.
The Birthday Party Project hosts monthly birthday parties at homeless and transitional living facilities with the goal of making children feel celebrated and valued. They launched in 2012, hosting one party a month at a single shelter with 60 children in attendance. Due to the dedication of their Birthday Enthusiasts (volunteers), they now host 26 birthday parties per month in 10 cities. To date, they have celebrated 2,900 birthdays with 18,500 kids and 6,500 Enthusiasts.
