Nedgine Paul Deroly is the Co-Founder & CEO of Anseye Pou Ayiti. Originally from Haiti, Nedgine has led community service and youth development programs within Haitian diaspora communities. She has also held previous roles with Achievement First, the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut, WorldTeach, and Partners In Health. A lifelong educator, she has conducted teacher training seminars and extensive research about Haiti’s education system. She was named a top global social innovator by Echoing Green, selected for the Forbes list of "30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneurs,” and part of inaugural cohort of Obama Foundation Fellows. Nedgine earned a bachelor’s degree from Yale College and a master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate.
Anseye Pou Ayiti works with Haitian communities to create a network of civic leaders and build an equitable education system based on shared history, values, and vision. It is a movement of allies who believe that equal educational opportunity will transform Haiti. Launched in 2014, Anseye Pou Ayiti is recruiting and training the next generation of leaders for education reform. Rooted in an appreciation of Haitian culture, customs, and community, they are raising education outcomes in underserved areas by promoting teacher excellence and student success. They are also accelerating teachers' impact in Haiti by fostering a network of fellowship alumni who play diverse roles across Haitian society as lifelong advocates of education equity.
