Mallory Dwinal-Palisch

Co-Founder & University Chancellor

Reach University

Mallory Dwinal-Palisch began her career as a teacher with Teach for America and later co-founded an experiential learning high school, Oxford Day Academy, a charter school in East Palo Alto, CA. Watching her students thrive in these real-world learning environments, Mallory later co-founded Reach University, the first-ever regionally accredited university to offer apprenticeship-based AA, BA, and MA degrees. By focusing on low-income and rural regions, offering online tutorials and classes, and rendering academic credit for on-the-job experience, Reach University is eliminating barriers to entry in the teaching profession and building local talent pipelines. Mallory now serves as Chancellor of Reach University and CEO of Craft, a venture-backed software tool that helps other universities replicate Reach's apprenticeship-based degrees. Mallory holds a PhD in Education from Oxford University (which she attended as a Rhodes Scholar), and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
