Allison Trowbridge is the Founder and CEO of Copper Publishing House. Allison published her book, Twenty-Two, in 2017 with HarperCollins / Thomas Nelson while completing an MBA at the University of Oxford. She became obsessed with publishing after witnessing a handful of books ignite the global anti-slavery movement, where she worked for nearly ten years leading marketing, fundraising, and international campaigns—at The Freedom Fund, Not For Sale, and as a partner at an impact investment fund, Just Business.
Publishing has been struggling. Audiences are disengaged because they are isolated, and authors are frustrated because publishers lack innovation. Copper is reimagining the industry by connecting audiences in book clubs. With Copper’s platform, readers connect in meaningful community through incredible content experiences – with private book clubs they can host, and public book clubs they can join. Copper’s original content is then published to audiences who know and trust them, and they can support books with the power to have transformative impact in the lives of readers.
